My New Toys

Aren't they pretty? The skillet is a Calphalon 1392 12" Fry Pan, and the measuring spoons are actually two sets combined from All Clad. Johnny picked the measuring spoons out for me at Williams-Sonoma while he was in Florida for work last week. He bought both the traditional sizes set, as well as the odd sizes set (which includes 1 1/2 tsp, 2 tsp, and 2 T.!!) which are quite useful. I have wanted metal measuring spoons for a long time, and was so happy! I found a screaming deal on the pan yesterday. I have been looking for a new 12" fry pan since I retired my old one a couple of weeks ago due to flaking Teflon. I really want one without a non-stick coating, (I have my eye on one from All Clad, but All Clad so expensive!) but having a pan that is non-stick is quite useful, too. I'm so excited to try both things out!
